Man Charged In PNC Park Fight To Stand Trial

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A third suspect in a fight that injured a PNC Park security guard will stand trial.

Police say Nick Miller started the altercation during game back in May.

Joseph Risher lost the tip of his finger while trying to maintain order. He faces another surgery.

"They have to free up my knuckle, it doesn't bend," he said. "It's my hand sustained nerve damage and we'll see what happens."

Risher has worked security at Pirates games for more than 20 years.

And today, he talked with us about the fight for the first time.

"A lot of discomfort and pain with trying to, you know, put up with the therapy that I've been going through," he said. "I haven't had a summer – my summer was taken off me with my 12-year-old. You know, every day is either full of pain, or full of therapy or doctors' appointments or court."

Nick Miller's girlfriend and her father have also been ordered to stand trial on charges in the case.
