SMITH TOWNSHIP (KDKA) — One person was killed in a head-on crash between a motorcycle and another vehicle Thursday evening in Washington County.

The crash happened around 6 p.m. on Steubenville Pike near Bavington Road in Smith Township.

The Washington County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim as 19-year-old Seth Bugay of Bulger.

He died from blunt force trauma.

According to the Coroner’s Office, Bugay was headed eastbound along Steubenville Pike on is Kawasaki motorcycle when it crossed over the center line and collided head-on with a sedan in the westbound lane.

Bugay was pronounced dead at the scene just before 7:30 p.m.
