Pitt's Paul Chryst Likes Panthers' Look As Drills Begin

PITTSBURGH (93-7 THE FAN) -- Pitt football head coach Paul Chryst calls in to Sportsradio 93-7 The Fan's Vinnie & Cook.

Chryst feels like his Panthers are getting into the rhythm of training camp, and he looks forward to getting into two-a-days next week.

He is glad that a few of his players feel the pressure to uphold the great traditions at Pitt, and he doesn't mind making his players feel uncomfortable as long as they keep growing.

Chryst updates the statuses of QB Tino Sunseri, RBs Ray Graham and Rushel Shell, and the defense. He also tells us how he has earned his players' trust, and explains why he's not entirely interested in having an exciting offense.
