BUFFALO TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – Police are investigating after a live pipe bomb was found in Washington County on Monday.

According to state police, the bomb was found on Rural Valley Road in Buffalo Township around 1 p.m.

The Allegheny County Bomb Squad was called to the scene and detonated the device without incident.

No other details have been released at this time.
