New Allegations Arise Against Jerry Sandusky

PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) -- KDKA Radio's Mike Pintek talks with Bob Dvorchak, co-author of Game Over: Jerry Sandusky and the Culture of Silence, about recent allegations that Sandusky and a prominent university booster abused boys on an airplane.

According to a report on Radaronline.com, a witness told federal investigators he allegedly saw Sandusky and a prominent PSU booster abusing a boy on an airplane.

While doing research for their book, Dvorchak says he and his co-author, Bill Moushey, heard rumors of that nature.

"I will say that we did not include that in the book 'Game Over' but we certainly were aware of it and checked it out – unable to confirm it at the time," Dvorchak said.

"And when these latest allegations have surfaced about a potential ring, the use of a private plane, Penn State boosters, we've been hearing echoes of that over the course of the last week, the last couple of days and have not been able to confirm or deny the existence of this aspect of the investigation, but we do know the state and the feds are …. looking further into this thing."

Listen to Mike Pintek weekdays from noon to 3 p.m. on NewsRadio 1020 KDKA.
