HAZELWOOD (KDKA) – A man was arrested after leading police on a chase early Wednesday morning that started in Duquesne and ended in Hazelwood.

According to police, the chase started in Duquesne around 1:30 a.m.

The suspect took off after police attempted to pull the vehicle over for an expired registration sticker.

The suspect reached high rates of speed during the nearly hour-long chase. Police said the chase also went through McKeesport and onto the Parkway East.

The chase came to an end when the suspect pulled into a driveway on Flower Street in Hazelwood.

The suspect’s name has not been released at this time.
