Indiana Co. Triple-Murder Suspect To Stand Trial On All Charges

INDIANA (KDKA) - An Indiana County man accused of murdering his wife and two young daughters was ordered to stand trial on all charges in the case.

According to state police, 40-year-old Lewis Beatty is responsible for the death of his wife, 32-year-old Christine Beatty, as well as his daughters – 11-year-old Amanda Beatty and 6-year-old Sara Beatty.

Beatty allegedly used a hunting knife to cut the throats of his two daughters.

He then went to his wife's workplace to make sure that she left and then traveled to her house to have a verbal exchange with her.

Beatty then allegedly strangled her and proceeded to cut her throat as well.

Beatty also set the house on fire returning to his home and setting it on fire.
