STOWE TOWNSHIP (KDKA) — A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a freight train Saturday evening in Stowe Township.

The incident happened around 8 p.m. near Nichol Avenue and the McKees Rocks Bridge.

There’s no word yet on the victim’s identity.

Allegheny County homicide detectives were called the scene to investigate.
