21,000 Gas Dryers Recalled Over Fire Hazard

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a voluntary recall of about 21,000 gas dryers due to a fire hazard.

The recall is for several models of LG Electronics and Kenmore Elite Gas Dryers.

According to the CPSC's website,"The gas valve in the recalled dryers can fail to shut off properly, continuing to heat the dryer and its contents after the drying cycle is complete."
