ROSS TOWNSHIP (KDKA) — A Ross Township department store was evacuated this morning because of a gas leak.

Emergency crews were called to the Kohl’s on McKnight Road just after 8 a.m.

Soon after arriving, they told everyone in the store to get out.

About 12 employees were inside at the time.

They were let back in a little over an hour later and the store is now back open and operating normally.
