PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — A dog was found locked in a trash can in Pittsburgh’s Garfield neighborhood and now the Animal Rescue League needs help finding its owner.

The dog, described as being in “horrible condition” was found in the 5100 block of Gem Way.

The dog had a very long coat, fleas and an ingrown collar.

Anyone who knows the owner or can identify the dog is asked to contact the Animal Rescue League.
