DERRY TOWNSHIP (KDKA) — A teenager was killed in an accident in Westmoreland County.

Two vehicles crashed in Derry Township just after 4 p.m. on Route 982 about 100 feet north of Strawcutter Road.

According to the coroner’s office, 18-year-old Dylan Steffey’s car crossed the center line and crashed into oncoming traffic.

Steffey, of Jeannette, was pronounced dead at the scene. His death has been ruled accidental.
