Police Make Arrest In Fatal Beltzhoover Shooting
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Pittsburgh police say they have made an arrest in a deadly shooting last month in Pittsburgh's Beltzhoover section.
According to police, 19-year-old Deshawn Nelson of Allentown is facing criminal homicide charges in connection with the shooting death of 19-year-old Daimond Hill.
Hill suffered a gunshot wound to the chest while standing outside of his home on Aug. 26.
He was taken to UPMC Mercy Hospital for treatment but later died from his injuries.
Police say a warrant was issued for Nelson on Tuesday and he was arrested at his home without incident.
