Teen's Body Found Near Larimer Avenue Bridge

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - A 17-year-old boy's body was found under the Larimer Avenue Bridge after a shooting Wednesday afternoon.

According to Medical Examiner's Office, the victim has been identified as Elijha Washington, 17, of Homewood.

Washington was found by his father after allegedly being shot in the head.

His family became concerned after he didn't come home after school. Then, they got word that he and some friends had been the target of gunmen.

"Me and my oldest son went out to start looking for him and they told us where they got shot at. Me and my oldest son just went down the railroad tracks looking for him and found him on the side of the tracks," Marvin Washington said.

No arrests have been made at this time.
