PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Police continue to investigate an overnight shooting in Pittsburgh’s Lincoln-Larimer neighborhood that sent a man to the hospital with critical injuries.

The shooting happened around 1:30 a.m. in the 1600-block of Broadhead Street.

The victim suffered a gunshot wound to the chest and was rushed to a local hospital for treatment, emergency officials said.

There’s been no update released on his condition.

Officials have identified the victim as Leroy Wofford, a local Blues musician.

According to our news partners at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, authorities reported that he may have been shot through the front door of his home.
