Local Musician Dies After Shooting
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A local jazz and Blues musician has died after he was shot this weekend at his home in Lincoln-Larimer.
Officials say Leroy Wofford died Sunday from injuries suffered in the shooting.
In addition to his talents as a singer, Wofford was known for his sharp attire and his easy-going personality.
According to our news partners at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, authorities believe he may have been shot through the front door of his home.
The shooting happened around 1:30 a.m. Saturday on Broadhead Street.
Police continue to investigate.
