Paul Chryst: "It Was A Meaningful Win"

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) - Following a big upset of No. 13 Virginia Tech, Pitt Panthers Head Coach, Paul Chryst joined the Fan Morning Show on Tuesday.

After losing the first two games, Chryst tells us that the main difference in their win was winning the turnover battle, and capitalizing on opportunities that they had in the red zone.

It was his first win as Panthers' head coach, but he says that you have to move on, and cant rest on any victories. He says that he is always appreciative of victories, and, "It was a meaningful win, and it was a big win for this group."

However, he also tells us that the team still has to improve, saying, "We're not where we want to be."

Paul was very impressed with the play of Rushel Shell against VT, and says that he enjoyed watching Shell run over defenders and gain tough yards.
