NORTH STRABANE TOWNSHIP (KDKA) — One person is dead after an accident on Interstate 79 in North Strabane Township

State police in Washington say a tractor-trailer jackknifed.

Mark Anthony Chesick, 45, of Pittsburgh, was killed. He died from multiple blunt force trauma, according to the Washington County Coroner.

According to the coroner, Chesick’s Ford pickup truck heading northbound crossed into oncoming traffic and hit a tractor trailer.

Chesick was ejected from his truck and died at the scene.
