BARKEYVILLE (KDKA) — Crews are at the scene of a fire near a gas station in Venango County.
It’s happening at a mechanic’s shop beside the Citgo station along Route 8 in Barkeyville.
A worker at the Travel Center of America, a convenience store across the street, says it appears that crews have knocked down the flames.
Medical helicopters have been called to the scene, but it’s not clear how many people were hurt.
HAZMAT crews from four counties responded.
Route 8 is closed in both directions in that area.
