Frost Advisory Issued For Parts Of Area

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Summer’s warm temperatures have given way to a crisp, cool start to fall and a Frost Advisory is in effect for parts of the area.

According to the National Weather Service, a Frost Advisory will be in effect from 2 a.m. until 9 a.m. Monday morning for the following counties:

Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Clarion, Fayette, Greene, Indiana, Jefferson, Lawrence, Washington and Westmoreland

As a precaution, any sensitive outdoor plants should be covered for protection.

The Frost Advisory is also in effect for Brooke and Hancock Counties in West Virginia.
