Car Hits Subway Restaurant In Westmoreland County

PENN TOWNSHIP (KDKA) — Cleanup is underway at a Subway restaurant in Westmoreland County after a vehicle plowed into the building this morning.

The accident happened around 11 a.m. along Route 30 near Pleasant Valley Road in Penn Township.

The car didn’t end up inside the structure, but there was significant damage to the front brick wall.

Emergency officials say the person driving the vehicle suffered a minor injury in the crash.
