PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Pittsburgh police have identified a suspect in a local bank robbery.

Police say Chester Belback, who is known to frequent the South Side and Mt. Oliver, held up the Community Bank on Brookline Boulevard just after 12 p.m. Wednesday.

He allegedly handed a teller a note that said, "Be quiet and hand me everything in your drawer …. I have a gun."

After getting the money, Belback ran off and tossed his shirt.

Police say Belback has a stolen gun on him and are warning the public not to approach him.

Pittsburgh police ask anyone with information to call the robbery squad at 412-323-7151.
