HARRISON CITY (KDKA) — Authorities spent several hours at a home in Westmoreland County overnight as part of a possible drug investigation.

Police descended on the home on Johntown Court in Harrison City around 9:30 p.m. Thursday and were there through the night.

Penn Township police, state police and the FBI were all called to the scene.

Investigators have not released many details about the investigation.

However, indications are it was all part of some kind of possible drug investigation.

One person was reportedly taken from the scene in handcuffs. There’s also no word on if they will face any charges.

Authorities have not released that person’s identity.

Police spent about six hours processing the scene and left the home around 3:30 a.m.
