PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Thousands of athletes took to the streets early Sunday morning to participate in the 35th Richard S. Caliguiri City of Pittsburgh Great Race!

The 5K event began at 8 a.m., while the 10K event started at 9:30 a.m.

This year’s route took runners down Forbes Avenue, Fifth Avenue and the Boulevard of the Allies toward the finish in Point State Park for the 10K event, while the 5K event started at Fifth Avenue and Atwood Street in Oakland.
