HILL DISTRICT (KDKA) – Police are investigating after a man was killed in a Monday night shooting in the Hill District.

According to police, the shooting happened around 9:30 p.m. in the 2400-block of Chauncey Drive.

The victim has been identified as 47-year-old Edward Sanders.

According to police, Sanders became involved in a verbal altercation with several males. At that time, an unknown suspect approached Sanders from behind and shot him in the head.

No arrests have been made at this time and anyone with information is asked to call police.
