PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) – Over 600 Pittsburgh based charitable foundations and groups are hoping you give a donation on Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012.

That’s the day that The Pittsburgh Foundation will hold the fourth annual “Day of Giving,” a 24-hour event where any donation given to a certified charity in this region will get matching funds from a special pool of money that The Pittsburgh Foundation is providing.
