GE is recalling some popular front-loading washers.

About 62,000 GE Profile Front Load Washing Machines are affected.

The basket can separate and break the washer’s top panel, posing an injury to consumers, although no injuries have been reported.

The washing machines were sold in gold, red and white colors at Best Buy, Lowe’s, Sears and Home Depot from July 2008 to August 2011.
