2 Injured In Separate, Late Night Crashes In German Twp.

GERMAN TOWNSHIP (KDKA) — Police are investigating two late night crashes that happened just a mile apart in Fayette County.

Both accidents happened around 10 p.m. along Route 21 in German Township.

A vehicle went over the hillside in the first accident, trapping one person inside.

After that person was rescued, they were taken to a local hospital for treatment of injuries.

Then, about a mile down the road from that scene, a motorcycle crashed.

The rider was flown to a hospital for treatment.

There’s no word on the condition of either person.

The two crashes had Route 21 shut down in both directions for several hours on Thursday night.
