NEW CASTLE (KDKA) – Police are investigating after two people were injured after shots were fired outside of a Lawrence County bar early Sunday morning.

According to our news partners at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the incident happened outside of the Capitol Grill on North Mercer Street in New Castle around 1 a.m.

Two people were taken to the hospital, but were not believed to have been shot.

The extent of their injuries is unknown and no arrests have been made at this time.
