Body Found In Mon River Identified

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Police are investigating after a body was found floating in the Mon River Monday morning.

According to emergency dispatchers, the body was found near the Mon Wharf just before noon.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office has identified the man as 68-year-old David King, of Pittsburgh.

The parking attendant spotted King's body just before lunchtime.

There were no obvious signs of foul play.

An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday to determine an exact cause of death.
