Funeral Services Held For Fallen State Trooper

MONACA (KDKA) --- From the governor's office to the state police commissioner to the community, the outpouring for love and support has been tremendous.

Hundreds gathered for the funeral services of 47-year-old State Trooper, Blake Coble of the Brighton Township Barracks.

Coble was on routine patrol on Route 251 when his cruiser was struck by the driver of a flatbed trailer truck. The truck driver has not yet been charged.

The service attracted so many people that it was held inside the Golden Dome at the Community College of Beaver County.

Law enforcement officers from across the area, state and country, were there to say farewell to one of their own.

Coble was a 24-year veteran of the state police and was 3-months away from retirement.
