PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) – Every Tuesday, Larry Foote joins the Fan Morning Show to recap the most recent game, and preview the next one.

Larry recovered two different fumbles on Sunday, and luckily for him, they were clean recoveries. He was happy for that because, if there is a scrum for the ball, players revert to dirty tricks to come out of the pile. He didn’t have to worry about anyone poking his eyes, scratching his face, or hitting him in a very sensitive area between the legs.

This week is a short one, with a Thursday night contest in Nashville. Larry takes us through the healing process of the body from game to game.

He says that Wednesday is usually the worst day of the week in terms of how much pain they experience. But, they have to fight through it and be ready for Thursday.

Penalties have recently become an issue for the Steelers.

Larry tells us that proper hitting techniques are discussed every day in practice. The players don’t want to injure one another, but they can’t play soft.

Larry also says that some of the responsibility has to be taken by the referees to be sure that the head is targeted.
