Truck Driver Involved In State Trooper Crash Will Be Charged
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Police say charges will be filed against the truck driver who ran through a stop sign last week in South Beaver Township, killing a state police trooper.
Gregory Golkosky of Mount Pleasant could be charged with anything from a minor summary offense to vehicular homicide or involuntary manslaughter.
Investigators are waiting on results of the accident reconstruction before presenting evidence to the district attorney.
Police say Golkosky admits he was distracted by his cell phone and the truck's CB radio when he hit trooper Blake Coble's car.
