PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) — Pitt Basketball Head Coach Jamie Dixon joined Seibel, Starkey and Miller on Sports Radio 93-7 The FAN to talk about tonight’s Midnight Madness event.

Coach Dixon said everyone seems to be really excited about the outdoor court tonight for Midnight Madness and all the plans that have been made.  According to Dixon, he has told his players “we’ve got about a month to decide” on who gets the minutes this year.

We also took a look at how deep the Panther are this year, and how Dixon plans on divvying up the playing time.

Dixon also gave us the inside information on highly touted freshman Steven Adams and what they’re expecting from him.

We wrapped things up getting Coach Dixon’s thoughts on the recent passing of college sports legend Beano Cook.
