Larry Foote On Ta'amu Incident, Panic Button

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) -- With the arrest of Nose Tackle, Alemeda Ta'Amu, Larry Foote says that the Steelers have to pick their teammate up.

Foote says that he probably scared right now, and the team has to make sure that he learns from this.

One issue with the extra few days off is that players have a long weekend, and can get into trouble. Foote says that the coaches preach to the players to be responsible over the long weekend.

"That's Mike Tomlin's No. 1 speech: 'Don't be that guy'," he said.

Tomlin gives out numbers for car services and stresses to be smart.

"He's firm about that," Foote said. However, after a disappointing loss to the Titans, he tells us that the Friday meetings were more about frustration from the loss, and they didn't talk about responsibility.

After losing Thursday night, Foote says that he is ready to hit the panic button.

"I don't have both hands on it yet," he said. But, he knows that the team can not afford many more losses.
