Pens’ GM: ‘It’s Business As Usual, Without The Hockey’

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) — Pittsburgh Penguins General Manager Ray Shero checked in with Vinnie & Cook on Sportsradio 93-7 The Fan.

He admits his calendar is a bit slower now that the lockout has hit and tells us that it’s business as usual, just without the hockey.

Shero has no problem with his players going overseas to play, but admits he still has some concerns about that situation.

He also dives into how the lockout has placed him in some “weird situations” while trying to build this year’s team, reflects on last season’s difficult playoff exit to Philadelphia and tells whether he is happy with the Penguins team as constructed right now.
