PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Police are investigating a murder in the Lincoln-Lemington neighborhood of Pittsburgh.

They found a 49-year-old Donald Cheeks lying in the 6600-block of Deary Street.

He had been shot in the head and chest. Cheeks was rushed to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital where he later died.

Police believe the shooter tried to  rob him as he was walking to his vehicle.

Witnesses reported hearing several gunshots in the area and saw four black males running from the scene.

So far, no arrests have been made.
