PITTSBURGH (93-7 THE FAN) — Pitt analyst Pat Bostick joined Seibel, Starkey and Miller on Sports Radio 93-7 The FAN for his weekly spot to talk some Pitt football.

We first hit on the running back position for Pitt, and Bostick said the team is “putting a lot of emphasis” on freshman Rushel Shell getting a good share of the work.  According to Pat, it isn’t a passing of the baton from Ray Graham to Shell though, because Graham is still doing a lot in the passing game.

Bostick also helped us take a look at the defensive side of the ball, and the teams use of linebacker Todd Thomas as he has worked his way back from off-season knee surgery.

Being a quarterback during his playing days, Bostick also talked with the guys about some of the QB play across the NFL.
