PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) — Rich Campbell of the Washington Times joined Seibel, Starkey and Miller on Sports Radio 93-7 The FAN to help preview this weekend’s match-up between the Steelers and Redskins.
Campbell gave The Fan an insight into Redskins Quarterback Robert Griffin III, and his development as the season has gone on.
One thing RGIII needs to work on is knowing when to slide and when to stretch a play for the extra yards.
“He’s going to continue to get better but for now, still has a really good grasp of what he’s looking at down field,” Campbell said. “Anything that does break down, he’s able to use his legs and electrifying speed and create positive plays, so it’s really, really difficult for defenses to defend.”
Campbell told us Redskins Wide Receiver Pierre Garcon won’t be playing this week, and gave The Fan a look into their depth chart at receiver, and who the Steelers will have to keep an eye out for.
We also discussed the emergence of Running Back Alfred Morris for the Redskins, and what he could do against the Steelers.
