Reporters Jet Setting With Candidates

PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) - If you're following the campaigns closely, you'll know that both President Obama and Gov. Mitt Romney travel to multiple campaign stops in many cities and many states- sometimes in the same day.

It takes a ton of resources to move the candidates and their support teams, equipment, etc., and following them are the reporters assigned to their campaign. These reporters are also on whirlwind tours, driving and flying across the country.

How do they get around? When do these guys eat? How do you report and stay on schedule with the candidates' movements?

KDKA-AM's John Shumway talks to CBS correspondent Peter King, who is following the Romney campaign.

He talks about how his day is scheduled, how he keeps up, and what it's like to hear the same speeches over and over again.
