As we prepare for Week 9 of the WPIAL football season, we continue with our newest feature of our website, The “Mr. High School Sports” Podcast. It’s a look back at the highlights of the previous weekend, and a look ahead at things to come in high school football.
Fifty of 64 total playoff spots already have been secured, and in this week’s edition, we take a look at a couple of the win-or-go-home regular season finales as we gear up for the district playoffs, and we announce our Athletes Of The Week for Week 8:
One of the games on our agenda is tonight’s pivotal Quad-A Southeastern Conference contest between visiting Mount Lebanon and Upper St. Clair, which can be heard, beginning at 7:30, on SportsRadio 93.7 The Fan (pre-game coverage starts at 7:00 with the MSA Sports Network).
