Heinz Red Zone: Pizza Dogs

STEELERS HUDDLE "Heinz Red Zone Recipe": Pizza Dogs
- ½ cup Heinz Ketchup
- ¼ cup finely chopped green pepper
- ¼ cup finely chopped pepperoni
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
- 1 tube refrigerated crescent rolls
- 4 slices mozzarella cheese ~ halved on an angle
- 8 all beef hot dogs
Directions:
Stir Ketchup with the green pepper, pepperoni, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan cheese in a small saucepan.
Cook, stirring often, over medium heat until bubbly and fragrant. Cool.
Preheat the oven to 350° F.
Unroll the dough and separate rectangles into triangles.
Spread an equal amount of sauce over each triangle. Top with a half slice of cheese.
Place a hot dog at the wide end of the rectangle and roll in dough to enclose.
Transfer to a parchment baking sheet, laying seam side down.
Bake on the lower rack of the oven for 15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
