PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Kittanning State Police are investigating a fatal accident that took place in O’Hara Township Saturday evening.

It happened around 4:30 p.m. on the northbound side of Highway 28 before exit 10.

Two people were heading southbound in the vehicle, when the car went over the center embankment into oncoming traffic.

One person in the car was declared dead at the scene, the other was taken to Allegheny General Hospital.
