Ed Bouchette Wraps Up Steelers' Win Over Giants

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) - The Steelers have three straight games with a 100-yard rusher. Ed tells us that the offensive line is very much to thank for that. They have been much improved from previous seasons, and even earlier in this season.

Let's not forget about how well the running backs have been performing, though. The previous two weeks with Jonathan Dwyer, and Sunday's game with Isaac Redman, the backs have been doing a great job of getting yards after contact, and finding the holes that the line is opening up.

The defensive backfield has been much improved, also. Keenan Lewis, save for two pass interference calls (only one of which, Ed says was legitimate) had a very good game in coverage.

Ryan Clark only added to the great play of the corners by solidifying the safety position. The helmet-to-helmet contact call on him in the end-zone took away from how Clark has been playing in recent weeks.

Bill Leavy's refereeing crew was really bad multiple times in the game on Sunday.

Ed gives us his thoughts on the officials and some of the blown calls.
