Recent Rain Causes Crafton Heights Landslide

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Crews are working to clean up a landslide in Crafton Heights that has closed a road.

A stretch of Noblestown Road between Weaver and Obey Streets remained closed at of 7 a.m. Monday following Sunday's landslide.

Officials said they had to wait for the ground to stop moving before they could get in and start cleaning it up.

The wet, muddy ground from all the recent rain has made the hillsides unstable, sending trees and rocks down onto the road.
