Foote On Officials, "Integrity Of The Game Is At Stake"

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) - Every Tuesday, Steelers Linebacker Larry Foote joins the Fan Morning Show at 8 a.m.

The Steelers defense forced Eli Manning and the Giants into three straight three-and-outs in the fourth quarter. Larry says that they knew going into the game that Eli has proven that he can bring his team back and the Steelers didn't want to let that happen.

The Steelers were battling some questionable calls, as well. Larry tells us that at least one referee told Mike Tomlin that the Ryan Clark hit to the head penalty was a bad call. "The integrity of the game is at stake," Larry said of officials being able to keep up with plays, "The game is too fast."

As for the Chiefs, Larry tells us that there are no easy games. Even though the Chiefs are 1-7, it is a Monday night game so emotions will be running wild and the team will be geared up to play.
