PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) — Former Redskins and Texans general manager and current NFL Network analyst Charley Casserly joined The Fan Morning Show on Friday to break down the Steelers and the league at large, with Week 10 already underway.

He said that the team’s improvement has been in large part to the offense doing a better job of executing in key situations, especially when it comes to the running game. Still, he seemed to think that the team has been on the upswing in just about every area, leading to the team turning things around.

He gave his thoughts on Todd Haley’s path to his current job as the Steelers’ offensive coordinator, which obviously included Haley’s recent short stint as the Chiefs’ head coach.

He also explored the reasons why a few other teams have or haven’t succeeded.
