PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) – Captain Sean Parnell, a Pittsburgh native, Afghanistan veteran, and author of bestseller “Outlaw Platoon: Heroes, Renegades, Infidels, and the Brotherhood of War in Afghanistan,” has become a national voice for veteran issues.

He travels the country talking about what faces returning vets, how the system can be improved, and discusses his book about his platoon’s experiences in Afghanistan.

As part of their salute to vets on Veterans Day, KDKA-AM’s Larry and John talk to Captain Parnell about veteran issues, what this day means to him, and how we should treat returning vets.
