Somerset Co. Murder Suspect Extradited Back To Pa.

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A man who was arrested in Louisiana last week on homicide charges in Somerset County has been extradited back to Pennsylvania.

Jonathan Beal, 21, was arrested in Marrero, La. by the Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force.

He was wanted in the death of his girlfriend, 19-year-old Justine Jackson.

Jackson's body was found buried in the woods near the Great Allegheny Passage Trial in Somerset County last week.

She had been missing for about two months.

Beal was brought back to the area on Saturday and was arraigned on charges of homicide, abuse of a corpse and aggravated assault.

So far, bond has not been set.
