BETHEL PARK (KDKA) — Police are looking for the person who robbed a Dairy Queen in Bethel Park at gunpoint Friday afternoon.

The robbery happened around 2:30 p.m. in the Hillcrest Shopping Center on Library Road.

The cashier says the suspect just casually walked into the store before demanding money.

“He came in through the door and he just… he had a gun and he just said, ‘Open the register and give me what you have,’” said MacKenzie Happe. “He had a grocery bag, so I put all the money in there and after that he just ran around back and I think he ran around the back of the building.”

No one was in the restaurant at the time.

The suspect is described as tall with a mask over his face.

The cashier was shaken up, but she wasn’t hurt.
